OLDSKOOL FORT ET VERT additional notes: - the intro is released on a Prontos DOS image file (fully compatible with DOS 3.3). - 33 sectors are occupied on the disk: > 32 for the data itself (32x256 = 8192 bytes). Actually the real size of the intro is 8187 bytes. > one with the DOS 3.3 tracks and sectors list for the file. - the music is a cover for AY-3-8910 by z00m of 'Fucked Up At Dreamhack 2001' a song from Dubmood (Kalle Jonsson). - the original PT3 was "cut" for timing purpose (and the last pattern added). - you can discover the other musics and works of z00M (Branislav Bekeš) on his profile page on ZxArt: https://zxart.ee/eng/authors/z/z00m/ - some additional information about the incompatibility with the 65C02: OLDSKOOL F&V uses several LSR add,X during some parts where timing is crucial. With a 6502, LSR add,X is 7 cycles but only 6 with 65C02 (if no page boundary crossed). - note that, on a real Apple IIe, when switching between HGR and GR modes (for the color bars effect), we can see some "artifacts" that do not appear with the rendering of emulators. - "FORT ET VERT" is an old joke used on the French scene in reference to "forever" which is slightly pronounced the same way in French.
